POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repair duties as needed for the purposes of ongoing building care and upkeep.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
Performs routine and preventative maintenance on Trane chiller and boiler units electrical and mechanical components.
Experience with Johnson Controls.
Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Repair Chillers, industrial refrigeration, and Commercial HVAC equipment.
Maintain, operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs.
Perform facility inspections and report on conditions affecting operations.
Comply with all safety procedures and requirements.
Support any after hours building needs and activities as required.
Attend training sessions and seminars.
Perform light plumbing, furniture assembly, sheetrock/painting, general carpentry, setup, etc. as needed.
Other assigned tasks as requested.

Qualifications

Candidate must have a growing & mature, demonstrated personal relationship with Jesus Christ and exhibit a consistent Christ-like attitude and life.
High school diploma required and/or equivalent experience.
General exposure to electrical works and carpentry experience helpful, but not required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chiller Technician or a similar role.
Basic computer knowledge to record job details and generate reports.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various work environments.
A team player with the ability to cultivate a team spirit within the ministry area and throughout Church.
Ability to perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with assistance.
Ability to perform tasks involving prolonged periods of stooping, reaching, standing, walking, crawling, and climbing (ladders and lifts)
