Maintenance Technician

Full Time • Atlanta, GA, 30338, Atlanta, GA
The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repair duties as needed for the purposes of ongoing building care and upkeep.  
  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems. 
  •  Performs routine and preventative maintenance on Trane chiller and boiler units electrical and mechanical components. 
  • Experience with Johnson Controls. 
  •  Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Repair Chillers, industrial refrigeration, and Commercial HVAC equipment. 
  • Maintain, operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs. 
  • Perform facility inspections and report on conditions affecting operations. 
  • Comply with all safety procedures and requirements. 
  • Support any after hours building needs and activities as required. 
  • Attend training sessions and seminars. 
  • Perform light plumbing, furniture assembly, sheetrock/painting, general carpentry, setup, etc. as needed. 
  • Other assigned tasks as requested. 
  • Candidate must have a growing & mature, demonstrated personal relationship with Jesus Christ and exhibit a consistent Christ-like attitude and life. 
  •  High school diploma required and/or equivalent experience. 
  • General exposure to electrical works and carpentry experience helpful, but not required. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chiller Technician or a similar role. 
  • Basic computer knowledge to record job details and generate reports. 
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various work environments. 
  • A team player with the ability to cultivate a team spirit within the ministry area and throughout Church. 
  • Ability to perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with assistance. 
  • Ability to perform tasks involving prolonged periods of stooping, reaching, standing, walking, crawling, and climbing (ladders and lifts)
